What's density

Hello, this is a quick post about density. What it is and how it affects earth.
So let's start with what density is. Density is how much matter can fit into a cetain amount of spacer , or how many atoms is in a substance. This is present when you put multiple substances in a container. The more dense things witll float to the bottom while the least dense things will go to the top of the container.

Now I'm going to give a quick explanation of convection currents because they relate directly to density. Now a convenction current is a simple concept that I'm pretty sure you've heard of before. A convection current is when hot things rise and cold things sink. This applies to wind ocean currents and tectonics. Examples would be hot air rising and cold air sinking, hot water rising and cold water sinking, and finally hot magma in the earth rising and cold magma sinking.

I hope you enjoyed this short post I might do more quick posts in the future goodbye.
